Binghamton, NY area bassist and composer Thomas Westcott has been active in the upstate New York music scene for over 25 years. Doubling on both electric and upright bass, Thomas can be seen regularly on stages and heard on recordings over this time period. Currently, Thomas plays bass and is a founding member of the improvisational jazz/funk outfit Ultra Vibe. This group has produced two albums, “A Moment in Time, Volume 1” and “A Moment in Time, Volume 1 Live”. Thomas also performs regularly with Mike Davis and the Laughing Buddha Episodes and appears on the group’s last studio album “Find Yourself: Caterpillar”. He is a contributing composer and bassist for this band’s upcoming album due out in 2022. Additionally, Thomas also appears regularly with the Nashville-based Brian Golden Blues Experiment. He also played bass on the group’s last two albums, “The High Divided” and “Binomial”. He also performs regularly with Mike Davis and the Laughing Buddha Episodes and appears on the group’s most recent studio album, Find Yourself: Caterpillar. Thomas is a contributing composer and bassist for the band’s upcoming release.

In addition, Thomas performs regularly with the Nashville-based Brian Golden Blues Experiment, appearing on the group’s last two albums, The High Divided and Binomial, as well as the single Got No Time, which is featured on the debut release from Golden Soul Review.
